One injured in Brewery District shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- At least one person is injured after an alleged shooting in the Brewery District Friday night.

Police blocked off a scene at South Wall Street and West Beck Street following reports of gunshots in the area around 9:09 p.m., according to dispatchers. Multiple officers responded to the scene, closing off the lot next to Tony's Italian Ristorante. Caution tape appears to stretch across the street to another parking lot as well, crossing West Beck Street.

According to dispatchers, one person went to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound. They were in stable condition at last update.

Police had not shared information on the cause of the shooting, any other victims or a possible suspect as of 10:30 p.m.
