STRENGTHENING COLLABORATION: LJLA FELLOWS VISIT LAGOS MINISTRY OF ESTABLISHMENTS, TRAINING

As part of their Brown Bag Series, Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) embarked on a learning visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Establishments and Training. This visit underscored the Ministry’s crucial role in fostering human capital development and advancing career growth within the Government.

Welcoming the LJLA fellows to the Ministry, the Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Mr. Afolabi Ayantayo emphasised the importance of cultivating well-rounded individuals who can significantly contribute to the state’s progress.

He encouraged the Fellows, saying, “It is crucial for you, as emerging leaders, to be solution providers and play an active role in the growth of Lagos State”. 

In her address, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun provided a detailed overview of the Ministry’s mission and core values, highlighting principles such as hard work, team spirit, integrity, loyalty and dedication.

 “Our goal is to maintain harmonious labour and industrial relations while maximising stakeholders’ satisfaction”, she stated. 

The Executive Secretary of LJLA, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Ministry’s hospitality, stressing the importance of continued collaboration. 

 “We are grateful for the warm welcome and the invaluable insights shared today. There is immense potential for continued partnership between the Ministry and LJLA, and we look forward to exploring more collaborative opportunities that will benefit us both. This visit signifies a strengthened partnership aimed at driving excellence and visionary leadership within Lagos State”, she added.
