‘Summer ain’t summering,’ Primark staff give their essential bronzer rundown & the range starts at just £3.50

THIS summer has been a disaster – you could count the sunny days on one hand.

And now experts say that the remaining few weeks of the holidays aren’t going to get any better.

The oils come in stunning scents.
Instant blusher drops are among the summery range.

But just because the sun hasn’t been splitting the sky, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a stunning glow.

Primark staff in Perth have been showing off their range of must-have summer make-up staples that will leave you looking Ibiza ready.

And the best news is they start at a bargain £3.50.

Sharing the range online, one worker said: “Here for all your bronzing needs since summer ain’t summering this year.”

First up is the store’s luminous oil.

This comes in a range of shades like Maldives Sunset, which is almond scented, and Tahiti Bronze, which has a coconut fragrance. These are priced at just £3.50.

The oils are said to be an amazing dupe for Sol de Janeiro’s GlowMotions Glow Oils.

A bottle of GlowMotions will set you back an eye-watering £35 – so the Primark version is an incredible tenth of the price.

Meanwhile,  staff also showed off their instant blusher drops, infused with hyaluronic acid and marula oil.

They also recommend their Sun Beam tinted primer which has a factor 50 SPF.

This has been branded a brilliant dupe for Ultra Violette’s tinted primer, which costs £38 – while the Primark version come sin at just £6.

Finally, would-be sun worshippers can try out the Golden goddess body shimmer oil, which has a stunning summer papaya scent.

The PS… product will set you back just £4.50 for 100ml, and it’s been compared to the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil which retails at £97.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

Earlier this month, shoppers flocked to the Perth store after they launched an incredible summer beauty sale.

Sharing a clip of the sale items up for grabs, a shop employee said: “Grab a beauty bargain in store now! You’ve got to be quick!”

The shimmer oil has been compared to a pricey Tom Ford product.
