Kate is the complete package – she’s the most important Royal and she never ceases to surprise me, says Arthur Edwards

PRINCESS Kate is the “complete package” and the “most important Royal”, said Arthur Edwards.

The legendary royal photographer hailed Kate as “the star” of the monarchy, as she continues to power through work amid her personal health battles.

Mr Edwards sat down and spoke with The Sun’s Royal Editor, Matt Wilkinson, for the Royal Exclusive show – and praised Kate for her boundless dedication.

He conveyed his awe after seeing the Princess attend the men’s Wimbledon final earlier this month and present trophies.

It was the mum-of-three’s first public appearance since she attended Trooping the Colour for King Charles‘ birthday in June, where was seen beaming alongside the Monarch on Buckingham Palace’s balcony.

The esteemed royal photographer said: “The two days I’ve seen her and pictures of her, she was sparkling and I hope the treatment is working, and we see her back in full harness later in the year.

“She’s the most important member of the royal family.

“She’s the star, and the star has just not been shining as bright as it normally does.”

Mr Edwards also highlighted how King Charles is working hard, keeping up with public facing duties amid his own cancer treatment.

“The King seems to be battling away, although the Queen did say he doesn’t do what he’s told,” he said.

“He’s got so much on his plate he just ignores the advice of doctors, although I’ve been told his New Zealand trip has been cancelled in October on doctors orders so he’s listening there.”

The royal expert continued to commend Princess Kate for her endless work and commitment to royal duties.

“Catherine is just a superstar, she just does everything so well,” he fawned.

“She’s always so very pleasant, charming, she has a smile that would just please any photographer, when she smiles the camera lights up.

“You never see her grumpy or miserable, she’s always putting on a great show.

“When you’re working with her you’re enthused, because she’s just glorious, she always engages with people, when she goes to the rugby club she plays rugby, when she goes back to her old school she play hockey with the kids.

“When were in Ireland a few years ago she was playing Gallic games, hurling just an amazing lady, a bit like the late Princess Diana.

“Everything she does she does properly. This woman is the complete package.

“One day, please God, she will be our Queen. She will engage with the public and have this great empathy and sympathy for the sick and afflicted, and work tirelessly for her charities to bring them as much money as she can.”

It comes as another royal expert revealed why the royal’s appearance at Wimbledon was a huge boost to the country.

Legendary former royal correspondent Charles Rae claimed on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show that there is a big reason why Wimbledon organisers would “love” to have her back.

Princess Kate’s glorious attendance at Wimbledon came after she issued an update on her health battle.

'DETERMINED KATE'

Royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Sun: “It was a long held promise that Kate would take Charlotte to the finals as a special treat.

“Kate felt guilty she hadn’t been able to spend as much time as she would have liked to be with the kids because of her exhaustion after her treatment.

“Charlotte has always loved tennis and mum Kate took her to Hurlingham when she was quite young to play tennis there.

“Kate was taught by her dad Michael. William was taught by his mum
Diana and tennis is a big family thing on both sides.

“So it is a super special day for Kate to be able to share it with Charlotte and much more fun for her to have Charlotte there and explain to her the details of what is going on.

“It’s also a distraction so she does not feel she is full and centre of everyone’s attention. Charlotte is there to deflect things away from her too.

“Kate was determined to be at Wimbledon on finals day if she possibly could.

“She knew she probably wouldn’t make both days. But I feel certain we might well see George in Germany tonight with his dad.”

In a personal statement, Kate said: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last
couple of months.

“It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.

“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.

“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to
your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.

“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.

“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.

“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.

“Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.”
