Axed Love Island bombshell Konnor reveals he’s ‘sapiosexual’ as he continues search for love outside the villa
AXED Love Island bombshell Konnor Ewudzi has revealed he’s ‘sapiosexual’, where a person is attracted to intelligence before gender.
During his time on the show this year, Konnor, 28, proved a popular Islander.
However, this didn’t work in his favour as the girls all saw him as a “friend” and sadly this meant he was dumped.
The Cornwall-native has now told that he could be ‘sapiosexual’ while appearing on The Morning After podcast.
He explained: “When I went onto the show, they asked me a question, ‘Have you got a type?’ I haven’t got a type.”
When it was suggested that he could be ‘sapiosexual’, he replied, “Do you know what, I’m sapiosexual, it’s all about the brains.
“Obviously you have to be attracted to somebody but you have to be attracted to their brains as well.”
The Cambridge definition for Sapiosexual reads: “a person who is sexually or romantically attracted to intelligent people.”
Konnor arrived on Love Island as a bombshell last month.
He was joined by Matilda, who had been linked to Bobby Brazier before going on Love Island.
Konnor’s arrival came hot on the heels of Samantha Kenny being dumped from the villa.
But sadly for the barber, his time on Love Island was also doomed just like his Liverpool predecessor.
After Konnor nabbed Grace Jackson from Joey Essex, he found himself in a “friendship couple” with the model.
Things didn’t get much better for him during Casa Amor after he coupled up with Emma Milton and she went onto dump him as well.
Konnor’s luck looked like it was improving when bombshell Lolly Hart arrived in the villa.
The pair coupled up, but were dumped when they were voted one of the least compatible couples in a viewer vote.
After just over three weeks on the show, Konnor was dumped from the villa with Lolly.
The Islander had a lot to say about the flight attendant he was coupled up with.
Speaking to ITV after his shock exit, the hairdresser said: “My date with Lolly went really well, we have a lot in common.
“When she mentioned she worked for an airline we realised my godmother and cousin both worked for the same airline and it transpired that she knew both of them which was a lovely coincidence.
“Lolly also has an 1111 necklace which is my date of birth so there is definitely common ground between us.
“We are not putting pressure on anything, so I’m excited to see what happens.”
Lolly added: “I felt that Konnor and I had a lot in common so I instantly felt it was easy to talk to him.”

Sapiosexuals think the way someone looks is of little or no importance to the person, and it’s seen as a rejection of how superficial modern relationships can be.
Sapiosexuals are more in the books on your shelves and your knowledge of philosophy than whether you have a grasp of Love Island.
Although it’s not widely known about, the term has been around for a few years.
In 2014, dating app OKCupid changed its list of sexual orientations to include it.
Before that it was used in a LiveJournal piece by a writer called Wolfieboy, who explaining it as someone who was into someone’s mind rather than what their body was like.
