PARIS (KXAN) — More than 10,000 athletes from across the world are competing in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

With 329 medal events in total, KXAN is keeping track of how many medals each participating team has won.

The convention used by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is to sort by the number of gold medals, then silver, then bronze. This means the country that wins the most medals overall may not necessarily be at the top of the table.
