NCCF to sell tomatoes at Rs 60 per kg from July 29, aims to provide cost relief to consumers in Delhi-NCR

The National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Ltd. (NCCF) will retail tomatoes at Rs 60 per kilogram from July 29 in Delhi and the NCR to stabilise the market and reduce prices. Anice Joseph Chandra, NCCF's managing director, confirmed the initiative at multiple locations. Current retail prices range from Rs 100 to Rs 120 per kilogram, putting strain on consumers. NCCF aims to provide relief by offering tomatoes at almost half the market rates.
