New dates for TEDx Eleftheria Square

The event that brings inspiring stories and motivational speeches has announced new dates. The TEDx Eleftheria Square event was originally going to take place in May yet it has been rescheduled for the autumn. October 12 is the new date for this inspirational event which will bring together curious minds and remarkable storytellers to the heart of Nicosia.

Besides the new date, the event has also added speakers. Joining Miranda Tringis, founder of CyHerbia Botanical Park & Labyrinth, Polina Maltseva, educational consultant and the founder of a globally top-ranked IB school in 2023 and street artist Achilleas Michaelides, are Cypriot Nobel Prize winner Christopher Pissarides, the creative visionary behind Eleftheria Square, Zaha Hadid’s director, Christos Passas and Arianna Economou, Dance Artist and Founding President of DanceHouse. Also speaking at the event areKelly Christodoulou, a Responsible and Sustainable Investor and Galina Yuzefovich, a Literary critic, Author and Podcast host.

“TEDxEleftheriaSquare is a unique gathering in Nicosia,” say organisers, “that promises to weave together the diverse melodies of thought, innovation and the art of storytelling. Each speaker will bring their unique tune to create an unparalleled symphony of ideas.”

Transforming Eleftheria Square into an inspirational stage, the event will have an audience of 400 people and tickets are already on sale at www.tedxes.com. An exciting afternoon and evening awaits in mid-October as local stories and global perspectives unfold from 2pm to 8pm all centred around this year’s theme: Symphony of Minds. Oh, and the talks will be in English!
