Eddie Redmayne Plays Lone Assassin in 'The Day of the Jackal' Teaser Trailer - Watch Now!

The first trailer for Eddie Redmayne‘s new series has been released!

During the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony on Friday (July 26), Peacock debuted the teaser trailer for The Day of the Jackal, starring the 42-year-old Oscar-winning actor, Lashana Lynch, and Ursula Corbero.

Here’s the synopsis: “An unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.”

Eddie currently stars on Broadway in the musical Cabaret. It was recently announced that an American Idol alum will be replacing Eddie when his run is over in September!

The Day of the Jackal debuts on Peacock on November 7.
