Lane closures planned for I-90

An upcoming lane closure on I-90 will begin on Monday near exit 5A for Corporate Woods Blvd. to exit 6A for I-787 in Colonie.

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- An upcoming lane closure on I-90 will begin on Monday near exit 5A for Corporate Woods Blvd. to exit 6A for I-787 in Colonie. The closure will run until Monday, Sept. 30, for a pavement renewal project.

Schedule

• I- 90 Westbound:
  • Reduced to two lanes from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Reduced to one lane from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• I-90 Eastbound
  • Reduced to two lanes from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Reduced to one lane from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Speed limits will be reduced to 45 miles per hour in the work zones, and drivers should anticipate delays. The construction being done is dependent on the weather and subject to change.
