'Keep tweeting through it': J.D. Vance skewered after 'call me crazy' Kamala Harris attack

Donald Trump's pick for Vice President, J.D. Vance, was hit hard on Saturday after an attempted attack on Kamala Harris.

Vance, who has been slammed with several negative news stories and is plagued online by memes about couches and dolphins, took to social media over the weekend to lob some insults at Harris, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee in the upcoming election.

"Kamala Harris calls me and Donald Trump disloyal to America," he said. "Call me crazy, but I think it's disloyal to let in 20 million illegal aliens and poison our citizens with fentanyl."

Social media users went for the jugular in the comments section.

Molly Jong-Fast, a special correspondent for Vanity Fair, said, "Just keep tweeting through it," referring to Vance's scandals.

Self-described political junkie Russell Drew also chimed in, saying, "Fentanyl has been a major problem for many years, including when Donald Trump was president."

"Maybe we should invest in a campaign to tell people to just say no to drugs with fentanyl," Drew added. "It’s also a matter of people making smart choices. Personal responsibility is a factor."

@BettyBowers wrote, "Your mother didn't get her pills from open borders, she got them from open prescription bottles when she stole from her patients."

@acnewsitics also added, "Trump didn't do s--- to stop fentanyl."

@AutismCapital called for Vance to be more genuine.

"JD, you need to tweet better. Join the conversation," the account wrote Saturday. "These scheduled tweet PR style posts aren’t the way to do it. Let’s see the real you."

@TheJohnFeal9117 said, "Shush Couch Humper."

"Sen Lankford had a bipartisan piece of legislation that Chunks the Con killed," the account added. "So go back to Cushion Crushing and shut up."
