Ben Affleck Bought a Home in the Town He & One of His Exes Previously Lived in Together

As Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez try to offload their $68 million mansion, it seems Affleck just made another major real estate move: buying his own multi-million dollar home for himself (and it’s in the town he and Jennifer Garner previously lived at)!

In details obtained by TMZ, Affleck has just bought himself a Pacific Palisades mansion for $20.5 million. The home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a den, walk-in closets, a media room, and a guest house, to name a few of the amenities.

Now, here’s the thing: not only did he buy the home, but he closed escrow on it. For those who don’t know, the escrow process is around 30 to 60 days, depenfing on a multitude of factors. Lopez and Affleck listed their mega-mansion on July 11, per Realtor, so this new home of Affleck’s shows this has been a long-time coming.

It’s unclear if Lopez will be purchasing another property, but we now know Affleck will be living on the beachside at the Pacific Palisades.

Now, this comes as a bit of a shock when it comes to the location. Not only is it far from his former Beverly Hills home, but it’s now even farther from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home in Los Angeles, where their three kids live.

However, Affleck and Garner actually lived together at the Pacific Palisades before….

Anyway, other celebrities who live in the Pacific Palisades are Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper, and once, Affleck’s best buddy Matt Damon; all of whom loved the area for its privacy, per Fancy Pants Homes. This makes sense since so many insiders claim Affleck hasn’t liked all the attention his romance with Lopez has garnered.
