Ryan Reynolds Drags His & Blake Lively's 'Green Lantern' Movie, Reveals Last Time He Watched It (It Was More Recently Than You Think!)

Ryan Reynolds threw some shade at The Green Lantern, a movie that he starred in with his wife Blake Lively.

If you forgot, the 47-year-old actor played the titular hero in a 2011 big-screen movie about the DC hero. The project was not a huge success.

In a recent interview, he opened up about the last time that he’d watched it and playfully dragged the movie.

While hooked up to a lie detector during an interview for Vanity Fair, Ryan said that he had not watched the movie with his family. He really did not want to, either.

“I would actually, genuinely, rather watch just a f-cking 24-hour marathon of Paw Patrol,” he admitted, adding that his kids had only seen the trailer.

However, Ryan said that he watched the movie during the pandemic.

“During that time I’d finished Netflix, finished HBO Max, finished every streaming platform that exists. I had watched all the f-cking Bob Ross specials in backwards, even, by the way, which is a shot-for-shot remake of The Exorcist, and time to watch The Green Lantern, yeah,” he recalled. “I will say, a little drunk.”
