'Spectacular views': Bronx affordable housing unit has pool and washer/dryer combo

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11)— New Yorkers have 30 days to apply for the latest affordable housing in the Bronx. The property offers views of the Third Avenue Bridge and the Harlem River, according to Housing Connect.

This housing unit, located in the Mott Haven neighborhood, has over 100 affordable units for households of up to seven individuals.

Amenities include a lobby and lounge area, a gym, a kitchen with stainless appliances, and an outdoor area with a pool, photos show. 

“Third at Bankside overlooks the Third Avenue Bridge and the Harlem River with spectacular views, spacious interiors, an in-home washer/dryer, and dishwasher alongside a wonderful package of amenities,” the Housing Connect website states.

Rent starts at $1,795 and can reach $3,976.77. The rent includes heat, hot water, and cooking gas. Tenants are responsible for electricity, according to the listing.
