Brewers acquire RHP Nick Mears from Rockies

The Milwaukee Brewers acquired Nick Mears from the Colorado Rockies on Saturday in exchange for fellow right-handers Bradley Blalock and Yujanyer Herrera.

Mears, 27, went 1-4 with a 5.56 ERA in 41 relief appearances for Colorado this season. He is in his fifth major league season, coming out of the bullpen in 93 games for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2020-22) and Rockies (2023-24
