The Biggest Surprises From Marvel's Comic-Con Panel, From Returning Stars to New Revelations & More

Marvel Studios absolutely took over San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday night (July 27), and we learned so many exciting details about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

The lengthy panel shared some big details and surprises about five of the franchises upcoming movies – Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four and the next two Avengers movies.

Many members of the casts, including Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal and Anthony Mackie, were present and helped spill some of the tea.

What were the biggest takeaways? We learned that three big stars were returning to the franchise, including one member of the original Avengers. However, they were playing a totally new role.

We also learned how the MCU will finally fill a plot hole that has been lingering over the series for three years. It was worth the wait, trust us. Two big roles were revealed, and we found out about a team of heroes who would be playing a central role in the new Avengers movies.
