Extreme temperatures on Sunday

Cyprus’ met office issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures on Sunday.

According to the warning, between 11.00 and 16.00 the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 40C inland.

In a post on X, the met office said that after a short interlude, high temperatures are back.
