Belgian GP: Mixed qualifying for Williams Racing

The Williams Racing Team would come away from a wet quaifying for the 2024 Belgian GP with a set of very mixed results. For Alex Albon he was able to make his way through Q1 and missed out on Q3 by the smallest fractions, 0.003s. For Logan Sargeant his qualifying did not produce the same results with Logan dropping out in Q1 only managing 19th. Both drivers had been outside the top 15 during Q1 but only Alex was able to produce a laptime that saw him manage 14th and into Q2. Logan would finish well outside the top 15. Replays showed Logan running wide at Le Source on his final lap, which was an accepted line to take, but as he came out the Red Bull of Verstappen would come alongside and appear to impede Logan. Commentators were of the opinion that this really wasn't a case of impeding but did it impact his run to Eau Rouge quite possibly.
