EAM Jaishankar meets US Secretary Blinken ahead of Quad meeting

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Tokyo on Sunday before the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting. They discussed regional and global issues and noted steady progress in the bilateral agenda. Jaishankar also unveiled a bust of Mahatma Gandhi at Freedom Plaza in Edogawa, Tokyo, emphasizing the deepening ties between India and Japan. The ceremony, attended by Edogawa Mayor Takeshi Saito and Indian Ambassador Sibi George, featured schoolchildren singing Gandhi's favorite prayer, "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram."
