Bill for NFIR at advanced stage; likely to be introduced in next session: DEA Secretary

The National Financial Information Registry (NFIR) Bill was nearing completion and could be presented in the next Parliament session. The NFIR aims to consolidate financial information to improve credit flow, financial inclusion, and stability. Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth explained that the Budget 2023-24 included this proposal to boost the Indian economy.
