Blackburn Rovers And Stoke City Keen On Free Agent

Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City are both keen on an unnamed free agent, according to journalist Darren Witcoop.

 

Both clubs are keen to make progress in the transfer market over the coming weeks as the start of the new season approaches.

 

Stoke are keen to do business with Blackburn for Rovers striker Sam Gallagher, but have so far failed to have an offer accepted.

 

 

Stoke and Blackburn though could do battle for a player elsewhere as they are both interested in a free agent.

 

Who the free agent that both clubs are looking at is remains unclear.

 

 

Stoke are due to open their Championship campaign by taking on Coventry City at home, before then they take on Carlisle United in the EFL Cup.

 

Blackburn host newly promoted Derby County in their league opener.

 

 

Then Rovers are also in action against lower league opposition in the EFL Cup with a trip to Stockport County booked in.
