‘Slight increase’ in Covid cases

Hospitals across Cyprus are on standby to deal with cases of Covid-19, which according to Health Minister Michael Damianos, are “slightly increased”, while the overall situation is deemed to be “manageable.”

Speaking after a memorial service in Mesogi village Damianos said “Covid cases are slightly increased, but the hospitals are ready to do what they have to do, to take care of the patients where needed.”

He underscored the situation is manageable and this wave will recede, just like the previous ones, in the coming days or weeks.

Damianos added there is no reason to worry.
