COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The first Sunday of the Paris Olympics has arrived and multiple star American athletes will compete on the second day of the games.

Three more swimming finals make up 13 medal events on Day 2 as the Americans look to add to the five medal tally they hauled in from Saturday. After the men took the gym on Saturday, its the women's turn as Simone Biles and the Americans headline qualification.

Numerous major U.S. teams are set to play in some big matchups, including USA men's basketball against Serbia and USA women's soccer against Germany. Toward the end of the day, an Ohio native could grab another medal for the Buckeye state.
