Insiders Reveal Which Two of Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck’s Kids Are Even Closer Amid Divorce Rumors

Amid Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s alleged divorce, many wonder how their blended family is doing, and if the kids are alright. While some claim they’re trying to concoct a “Parent Trap” situation, insiders allege that they’ve accepted this will happen, and how they’re all going to remain close.

“The kids are old enough to know what’s happening,” the insider said to InTouch Weekly earlier this week. “Obviously, they’re very sad about it. In a perfect world they’d love it if there was a way that Ben and J. Lo could work things out, but they’re all pretty well resigned that’s not happening. To say they’re meddling and trying to get them back together is just not accurate. Most of all they just want them to be happy.”

Now, the blended family has always highlighted the importance of staying together and prioritizing the kids’ well-beings. And insiders allege that two of them are incredibly close: Affleck’s child Seraphina and Lopez’s daughter Emme.

“What is true is that they’re vowing not to let this affect their bond. They’ve all been in touch throughout this split and Emme and [Seraphina] especially are staying super close,” the insider added. “They have a great relationship; they’re still hanging out and talking all the time. They’re not going to let this divorce ruin what they have.”

It’s so sweet to see that the two are still so close. Ever since Affleck and Lopez got together, Emme and Seraphina have been pictured out and about ever since, often seen going on shopping trips together.

In photos obtained by InTouch in Feb 2024, the two were seen shopping together; and back in the summer of 2022, insiders told Life and Style Magazine how close the two are.

“Emme gets along with Violet and Sam, but they’re closest to Seraphina. They have a lot in common,” they said. “They love the same music. Emme’s turned [Seraphina] on to a lot of new artists, and they both embrace each other’s quirky fashion style.”

For those who don’t know, Affleck and his ex-wife Jennfier Garner welcomed three children, with whom Lopez has become the stepmother to. Their kids are named Violet, born on Dec 2005, Seraphina born on Jan 2009, 15, and Samuel, born on Feb 2012.

Lopez is also the mother to twins Emme and Max, born on Feb 2008.

Lopez and Affleck fell in love on the set of the film Gigli, and were together until they broke off their engagement in 2004.

However, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but as of July 2024, it seems clear that trouble is definitely afoot in their romance; and many believe a divorce is imminent.
