Double yellow weather warning

The met office has issued a double yellow warning for extreme maximum temperature for Sunday evening and Monday.

According to the warning, the minimum temperature inland and in coastal areas is not expected to fall below 26 degrees Celsius between 21.00 Sunday and 08.00 Monday.

It also said that, between 11.00 and 16.00 on Monday, the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 40C inland.
