Louise Redknapp shares sweet tribute to lookalike son as he reaches milestone birthday
LOUISE Redknapp shared a sweet photo of her eldest son Charley as she celebrated his 20th birthday.
The singer posted a selection of snaps as she gushed over how ‘proud’ she was of him.
Louise, 49, shares Charley with her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp – who has gone on to have another child with his new wife Frida Andersson.
She said that she “couldn’t believe” the youngster, who now lives in America, is 20 years old.
“I’m beyond proud of you Chaz and everything you are achieving. My partner in crime from day one,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I’m so happy to see you following your dreams, getting out there and experiencing new things.
“It took a lot of coverage to move over to America but you are smashing it and I miss you everyday you are away and always look forward to the Summer holidays when you are home.
“Happy Birthday Charley, Have the most amazing day! I love you so much,” she continued.
In a tongue-in-cheek dig she added: “Oh by the way… You’re not a teenager anymore you can definitely do the washing up now!”
Fans were bowled over by how similar the mother and son looked.
“No way!!!! Stop mama’s twin,” one wrote.
“My goodness how beautiful are you all …. Great genes,” another added.
“Spitting image of you !” wrote a third.
The former songstress, a member of R&B girl group Eternal in the 90s, recently posed in a sheer dress with her boyfriend Drew Michael.
She attended the Henley Festival earlier this month, showing off her incredible figure in the see-through dress.
Revealing her black underwear underneath, she teamed her daring look with a black clutch bag and elegantly bold, gold jewellery.
The first boyfriend since parting ways from Jamie in 2017, she went Instagram official with Drew in November 2023 when he celebrated his 40th birthday.
The couple then sloped off on a skiing holiday in February, looking loved up ever since.
Nine years her junior, the former public schoolboy and military officer (working as a Platoon Commander and a Fire Support Group Commander for the forces) now works in the aerospace and defence industry.
He is now Chief Executive Officer at Overwatch Group, also known as Overwatch Aerospace Ltd, supplying strategic war equipment to the Royal Marines and the British Army.
