Prince William Seemingly Made a Shocking Jab at Someone in Queen Camilla’s Family

It seems that Prince William is the one upholding King Charles III’s initiative to cut down on the monarchy, and its staff; and upheld it by declining to rehire Queen Camilla’s sister.

The Telegraph recently reported that William declined to rehire Camilla’s sister, Annabel Elliot, as an interior designer for the royals in the 2023-2024 year.

The report from the outlet read, “Sources confirmed that Prince William would no longer employ Ms. Elliot, although it was no reflection on her work.” So, while there’s no bad blood, allegedly, then why not rehire her, despite rehiring so many others?

Well, it may be because Charles took the throne. So, Elliot was appointed by Charles himself as the chief designer since 2005 and was even working in 2022, being paid upwards of $40,000 for fees and commission.

However, once Charles became King, leaving his previous title of the Prince of Wales behind. But now, William is the Prince of Wales, and that change may be the reason that Elliot no longer works for the Palace.

Elliot decorated and updated many royal properties, including homes in Cornwall, Wales and the Isles of Scilly.

But now? It may be time for a new decorator, with his new era of the Wales family.
