RYAN Giggs’ pregnant girlfriend Zara Charles was seen beaming after having lunch with pals in an Italian restaurant.
The lingerie model, 36, looked effortlessly chic in a grey vest top and matching low-rise trousers that gave a glimpse of her growing baby bump.
Zara teamed her outfit with a cropped leather jacket and plain gold jewellery after leaving Cibo restaurant in Hale, Cheshire.
She completed her casual look with flat tan leather sandals, and a luxury Loewe bag.
The mum-to-be appeared to be carefree and in good spirits as she made her way back to her Range Rover with her blonde locks flowing freely behind her.
The couple announced the pregnancy in April.
Friends of the couple, who have been dating since 2021, say they are excitedly planning for their baby’s arrival later this year.
Former Wales man Giggs has two children from his marriage to Stacey Cooke – Libby, 19, and Zach, 17.
Zara also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
An exact due date is yet to be revealed, but it is understood the tot will arrive in winter 2024.
A source told The Sun earlier this year: “Ryan was nervous about what his kids would think but they’ve got to know Zara over the last few years and really like her.
“They’re happy because they know he’s happy.
“But they’ve joked that he might struggle with the early mornings and lack of sleep.
“Ryan and Zara are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents again.
“They have a very solid, loving relationship and are building a long-term future together.
Their life is very simple, they go for walks, they go for coffees and love keeping fit.”
The couple live in a £2.1million seven-bedroom mansion which Giggs bought in 2023.
A source previously told The Sun the couple are “thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents again”.
Giggs is already dad to Sheffield United footballer Zach, 17, and daughter Libby, 19, from his marriage to Stacey Cooke.
Zara also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
The source added: “They have a solid, loving relationship and are building a long-term future together.”
