Video: NYPD arrests man found asleep with a gun in his pants at Brooklyn subway station
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The NYPD released a video of officers arresting a man who fell asleep at a subway station in Brooklyn with a gun sticking out of his pants on Sunday.
The video released on X (formally Twitter) of Lawrence Costa, 45, sleeping on the stairs of the Myrtle Avenue subway station, according to officials. Police said Costa was arrested on the following charges:
- Criminal possession in the second-degree
- Criminal possession in the third-degree
- Criminal possession in the fourth-degree
- Local law violence
