The Kamala memes keep coming. As the 2024 presidential race plays out in the marketplace of ideas (a.k.a. Twitter), we’re seeing posting increase at an exponential pace. Coconuts are out, vinyl is in. People on social media are editing a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris holding up a record, in much the same vein as Chandler cradling a LP before her.
The image was taken when Harris visited DC’s Home Run Records on Small Business Week. She did an impromptu, Amoeba Records-style “What’s in my Bag?” for the press, and the rest was history.
