Spandana Sphoorty Financial has temporarily stopped onboarding new-to-credit customers to manage asset quality after a spike in delinquencies. The gross non-performing assets increased to 2.6%. The company also halted new customer acquisition in 14% of its branches, with plans to review the situation in three to six months.
