One transfer saga involving Tottenham Hotspur looks to be nearing a conclusion, according to latest reports.

Ange Postecoglou’s reshaping of the Tottenham Hotspur first team squad has already seen several departures this summer with the likes of Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Troy Parrott, Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele, Joe Rodon and Pierre-Emile Hojbherg having headed out of the door.
Emerson Royal looks set to become the latest departure from Tottenham after an improved offer was tabled by AC Milan, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Italian journalist has revealed that the Serie A giants have improved their offer to a bid said to be worth between £11.8m – £12.6m, plus bonuses.
The Emerson Royal transfer saga could soon be over
The Serie A giants have been in talks with Tottenham for a number of weeks, having seen previous offers including one of £8.4m rejected by the North Londoners (BBC).
Royal was said to have also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The 25-year-old lost his place in the Tottenham first team with Ange Postecoglou preferring Pedro Porro as his first-choice right back.

With Emerson Royal being in South Korea with the rest of the Spurs squad, it will be interesting to see if he features against Team K League on Wednesday, or Bayern Munich at the weekend which will surely give an indication of just how close he is to an exit.
