Croatia and China agree knowledge exchange and player development agreement
July 29 – The Croatian Football Association (HNS) and the Chinese National Football Academy have signed a cooperation agreement.
The agreement covers the exchange of knowledge, training methods, and development of young players, but also new technologies in football and the construction of football infrastructure. The Croatians have embarked on an upgrade programme of all their domestic football training and stadia facilities to keep them competitive at the top end of world football as an aging national team that made the World Cup final in 2018 and semi-final in 2022 but failed to reach the knock out rounds at Euro 2024,
