Jeff Davis Parish to have planned power outage Tuesday
The Jeff Davis Electric Co-op has announced a planned outage Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- Some residents and businesses in Jeff Davis Parish will be without electricity for several hours tomorrow, officials said.
The Jeff Davis Electric Co-op has announced a planned outage Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. The outage will affect customers on La. 383, Abie Fontenot Road, Carl Hoppe Road, Gordon Denison Road and Newcomer Road.
Officials said the outage is necessary for the safety of crews working between two natural gas pipelines.
The outage is expected to last four hours, authorities said.
