A BEST-SELLING car brand is set to release a stylish new SUV – and it’ll be £1,000s cheaper than two motors sold by rival brands.

The brand-new Kia EV3 will be available to order from August 1 with its price set to be around £2,000 less than the Volvo EX30 and Cupra Born.

First revealed in October, the entry-level EV3 ‘Air’ has a range of up to 267 miles – thanks to a powerful 58.3kWh battery.

Their ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ models will have larger batteries fitted as standard – however, their maximum range is reduced to 347 miles, due to their larger wheels.

Drivers will get plenty of bang for their buck with the EV3’s interior, which will feature a 12.3-inch digital diver’s display along with a 5.3-inch climate control screen and a 12.3-inch touchscreen all located on a single panel.

This is similar to Kia’s predecessor the EV9, from which their new motor takes plenty of inspiration.

Kia’s EV3 naturally boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too – allowing drivers to pair their phones with the car’s infotainment system.

SUV and electric car fans will be familiar with Kia’s reversing camera and heated front seats which feature in many of their new motors produced.

The motor’s exterior comes with LED headlights and eye-catching 17-inch alloy rims.

Pricing for the brand-new Kia is expected to start from £32,995 – which is around £4,000 cheaper than the Kia Niro EV.

Kia has proven to be a firm favourite car brand with Brits, with the Sportage model one of the best-selling motors in the UK in 2024 so far.

Kia’s cheap as chips Picanto model is also a hot favourite – with the little hatchback just one of a handful of motors that has seemingly filled the gap left behind by the Ford Fiesta’s demise last year.

And in April, Sun Motors’ main man Rob Gill test drove the new Sorento – describing it as a whopping seven-seater with everything you need for a bargain price tag.

It comes after one of Britain’s best-selling motors will be rivalled by an upcoming Fiat model when the affordable SUV hits the market.

And a top car brand has pushed back its first EV until 2028 just months after it unveiled the model.
