'He was grazed!' Alex Jones furious at conspiracy theories about Trump's minor ear wound

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones expressed outrage at questions about whether former President Donald Trump was hit by a bullet at a recent rally in Pennsylvania.

In a rant on Monday, Jones reacted to reports that said FBI Director Christopher Wray could not confirm whether a bullet or shrapnel hit Trump. The bureau later confirmed that a bullet had struck the former president.

At the same time, TMZ published a photo of Trump's ear without a visible wound.

"FBI confirms Donald Trump was struck by a bullet during July 13th assassination attempt as major Democrat Party spokespersons all over CNN, all over MSNBC, and all over everywhere are saying nobody got shot. The whole thing's fake," Jones said during his Monday broadcast.

"When you can see it on live television and you can't fake something that real, but because his ear didn't blow off because they don't understand ballistics."

"Democrats that don't understand that, don't know how to find their a-- in both hands, he was grazed in the ear," he continued.

Jones claimed that he had also been shot in the ear as a child.

"And I was not grazed in the ear," he recalled. "I was hit directly in the back from the front and it blew a hole out the back and bled quite a bit."

"But within days, there was just a purple spot because the cartilage came back in," the conspiracy theorist added. "You can look at Trump's ear and see the grazing and see how cartilage bleeds a lot, but then it becomes flesh-colored within days."

Jones is known for airing conspiracy theories claiming that the Sandy Hook School Shooting was faked by "crisis actors."

The families of Sandy Hook shooting victims eventually won more than $1 billion in damages from the conservative host, but Jones declared bankruptcy to avoid paying.
