Arsenal are ‘closely monitoring’ the situation of Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, but he is not likely to leave the Allianz Arena this summer.
The winger is into the final year of his contract at Bayern Munich and has been tipped as a possible departee from the club in the ongoing window.
Sane’s situation is one that interested sides are fully aware of.
As a result, according to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Arsenal are ‘closely monitoring’ what happens with the winger.
Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Sane and shares a good relationship with the winger.
Sane though is fully focused on Bayern Munich, unlikely to leave this summer and could yet pen an extension to his current contract.
The Gunners will keep a close eye on Sane in the event that things change over the coming weeks and in the event he does not pen a fresh deal.
