Stadium used in 1924 Paris Olympics transformed into 2024 venue

The Yves-du-Manoir Stadium, which is more than 100 years old, has been refurbished to host field hockey competitions this summer.

PARIS (NEXSTAR) – A stadium that was used the last time Paris held the Summer Olympics in 1924 is also being used for the 2024 Games.

 The Yves-du-Manoir Stadium, which is more than 100 years old, has been refurbished to host field hockey competitions this summer. In 1924, it was used for the opening ceremony and track and field events.
