With 52 plots & 6 buildings, Odisha excise officer lands in vigilance net

A high-ranking excise officer in Odisha, Rama Chandra Mishra, was investigated for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets worth several crores. Investigators found 52 plots, multiple buildings, and flats registered in his and his family's names. Mishra, who is set to retire next year, denied any wrongdoing and cooperated with the investigation. Bank deposits and gold were also discovered.
