Double yellow warning for Monday night and Tuesday

The met office issued a new double yellow warning for extreme high temperatures on Monday and Tuesday.

Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to reach around 40C inland and 32 degrees in higher mountainous areas.

The warning is valid from 11:00 until 16:00 local time.

A yellow warning was also issued for Monday evening (21:00) to Tuesday morning as the minimum temperature is expected to fall not less than 26C over inland and coastal areas.
