Volunteer Speedway hosts free admission Town of Mosheim 50th anniversary celebration SATURDAY, AUGUST 3

BULLS GAP, Tenn. – Volunteer Speedway opened in 1974, and Mosheim was established the same year. The historic, legendary track recently held its 50th anniversary weekend capped off with the $50,050-to-win Volunteer 50, which paid out over $300,000 and attracted racers and fans from around the country. 

Now it’s time to recognize the Town of Mosheim for their 50th anniversary with the Mosheim Celebration scheduled for Saturday, August 3. It promises to be a fun time for everyone and admission is free!

Gates open at 10 a.m. Jammin’ With The Jeeps Show is scheduled from 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m, with cash and prizes awarded to entrants. There will be music from the Dugger Band and Corey Stevenson Band from stage on the front straightaway.

If you’ve ever wanted to ride in a dirt Late Model, there will be opportunities to ride in the Volunteer Speedway two-seater.

The daylong Mosheim Celebration will conclude with the nighttime skies over “The Gap” illuminated with a huge Pyro Shows fireworks display.
