The Mormon mom “seggs” scandal that took over TikTok is getting a Hulu docuseries titled The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives this Fall. The synopsis reads: “The scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines. Now, their sisterhood is shook to its core. Faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line.” As a refresher, in 2022, Mormon MomTok broke into the mainstream when influencer Taylor Frankie Paul announced that she and her husband were splitting up. She claimed that their relationship fell apart after she broke the golden rule in their “soft swinging” friend group, which was made up of other Mormon TikTokers, where you cannot hook up with someone else’s spouse in private. The other members quickly denied the claims that they were swingers, which, according to their comments section, no one believed.

All six episodes will be available on Hulu on September 6, just in time for Christian Girl Autumn. But when will more important parts of Mormon culture, like those specialty soda shops, get in the spotlight?
