'Gotta be a parody': Eyebrows raised as Donald Trump agrees to Q&A with NABJ
Former President Donald Trump plans to attend a convention with the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago, and the internet collectively wondered aloud Monday night, "Really?"
In a statement released to media outlets Monday night, Trump said he would participate in a conversation with journalists at the National Association of Black Journalists Annual Convention and Career Fair on Wednesday. At the convention, he plans to engage in a question-and-answer session with political journalists in front of an audience.
The topic: concentrate on the "most pressing issues facing the Black community." The event will be moderated by Rachel Scott, senior congressional correspondent for ABC News, Harris Faulkner, anchor of The Faulkner Focus and co-host of "Outnumbered" on Fox News, and Kadia Goba, politics reporter for Semafor.

The news raised eyebrows on the social media app X.
"As someone who’s been at NABJ when Omarosa [Manigault] was interviewed, I’m going to guess this won’t go well for Trump," wrote Adrian Carrasquillo on X.
He was referring to the former White House aide's chilly reception, including being asked how she could "sit in a White House" while the former president appeared to support police brutality.
“Are you suggesting that I just walk away?” Manigault asked at the time.
She continued, “I’m not going to stand here and defend every single word and decision. I still have my story – you’re dismissing my family story.”
