Star-studded 'White Dudes for Harris' livestream raises over $2.7 million — and counting
The fundraising stream "White Dudes for Kamala Harris" reached a massive milestone Monday night, raising over $2.7 million for the joint fundraising committee Harris Victory Fund, as of press time, and still going.
The star-studded event, which urged white men to show their love for Vice President Kamala Harris and has had hundreds of thousands of individual donors, featured a number of celebrities, like actor Jeff Bridges and Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Josh Groban.
It also featured Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who proclaimed that, "It's less that we're saving democracy, and more that we're building one," and Gov. Roy Cooper (D-NC), who was a shortlister for Harris' running mate before taking himself out of contention this week.

"Real men respect women, their decisions, their careers, and it's pretty clear that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, don't," said Cooper.
This comes after a similar event, hosted on Zoom, titled "White Women: Answer the Call," where 136,000 people overcame glitches to donate over $1 million.
