More laughing gas seized in Ayia Napa

Police seized ampoules with laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and items for their use on Monday night from a kiosk in Ayia Napa.

According to the police, 50 unused ampoules, five devices, a metal canister, and 25 balloons were located and confiscated.

The 35-year-old owner of the kiosk was arrested for the evident crime and released after being questioned, pending the results of lab testing.

In another bust Famagusta police on Tuesday had confiscated an additional 390 vials of nitrous oxide from a shop.

The case is under ongoing investigation.
