On her @thelushconnoisseur account, which often rates products from the brand, she showed the gel in action.

She said: “Lush has created a Nutella-inspired shower gel.

“It’s made from hazelnut, milk, and cocoa.

“It literally looks and smells exactly like Nutella

“Wow, I am in love. I am just obsessed.

“It looks so edible. Delicious.”

The ‘Posh Chocolate’ Lush product is said to be “deliciously hydrating and softening”, and it comes in a number of sizes.

On the Lush website or on their app, you can pick up a 100g tub for £9, while their 225g alternative is £18.

The shopper added: “It’s such a thick and luxurious shower gel.

“It feels like I’m washing with melted chocolate. It’s so creamy and soothing.

“The scent is to die for.

“If you have any friends or family that love Nutella, this would be their perfect gift.

“I can still smell the chocolatey scent now. It’s super sweet and indulgent.

“I’m off to go and finish off my chocolatey wash with some actual Nutella. Bye!”

The Lush website states: “This deliciously self-centred – and completely vegan – chocolate body wash is packed with cocoa powder, hazelnut milk and Fair Trade organic aloe vera gel, combining to soften your skin while leaving you smelling good enough to eat.

“Cocoa powder has a silky texture and marvellously sweet scent, while glycerine increases skin hydration, easing signs of drying.”

And it is very easy to use.

Simply “scoop out a good handful and inhale the rich cocoa aroma while you work it all over your body then rinse off.”

Many Lush fans seemed desperate to snap up the limited-edition product.

One said: “Looks sooooo nice I can’t wait to try it!!”

Another added: “Wow I need this lol.”

And a third commented: “It looks kind of like you putting fake tan on.”
