We all love Aldi Specialbuys, right? There’s all things from beauty bits and cheap candles, to garden tools and camping gear.

But now, there’s a new middle aisle find that’s sent shoppers wild – and it’s reduced.

One bargain hunter was left beaming when browsing the aisles in her local Aldi, in Whitby, UK, when she spotted the handy, affordable find.

Thrilled with her cheap find, Serena Dring took to social media to alert other shoppers, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with a jaw-dropping 2.5 million members, Serena shared a snap of her purchase – the Belavi Lattice Wooden Planter.

Alongside her post, Serena penned: “£5 in Aldi.”

She then beamed: “Absolute bargain.”

This wooden planter is the perfect support to help your climbing plants grow.

Not only does it look great, but it will create a magical summer garden for you and your company to enjoy.

It’s ideal for any patio or garden and is available in two colour options – Tan or Grey.

And if that wasn’t enough, even better, it comes with a one year guarantee – yes, you heard that correctly.

Serena shared her post 15 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 902 likes and 441 comments.

Need to go to Aldi

Social media users were impressed with the reduced buy and many were keen to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Need them all.”

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

Another added: “I love this.”

A third commented: “I like them, need to go to Aldi.”

Whilst one gardening enthusiast claimed: “Mine was £19 last week.”

More Aldi middle aisle buys

IF it's middle aisle buys that you're looking here, some of the new items you won't want to miss.

Shoppers recently went wild for Aldi’s new ‘pregnancy and menopause essential’ – and it’s only £6.99.

Garden enthusiasts raced to nab a £6.99 buy that will add style to any garden in an instant.

A £12.99 garden find left shoppers open-mouthed – but you’ll need to sprint to nab it.

If you’re looking to light up your garden this summer, you won’t want to miss this £8.99 solar light.

Meanwhile, someone else penned: “They’re showing as £15 in our Aldi. Husband is there now so I’m hoping they scan through at £5.”

At the same time, many bargain hunters tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the Specialbuy.

One shopper tagged her partner and wrote: “I want two of these for out the front.”

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.

A second asked an Aldi shopper: “If you happen to go there and they have these, can you pick me two up please.”

Not only this, but someone else advised a Facebook user: “Keep an eye out and grab loads.”

If you fancy getting your hands on this bargain buy, you’ll need to move fast.

Whilst the planter is currently not available online, it will be sold in middle aisles in Aldi stores while stocks last.
