Salem man accused of sexual assault may have other victims, police say
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities are seeking information about a Salem man accused of an attempted assault on July 26, after learning he is also suspected in another case, police announced Monday.
Officers first responded to a report of a man attempting to sexually assault an employee at the Happy Holiday Massage clinic at 1828 Lancaster Drive NE around 10:45 a.m. Witnesses at the scene told police a woman “screamed and struggled with the suspect, getting the attention of others who intervened.”
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Felix Flores Jr., fled the business — but was arrested by police soon after.
After arresting Flores, police identified him in another Salem assault case in which he was accused of entering Sasa Massage at 820 Commercial Street SE and sexually assaulting an employee.
Investigators believe Flores may have other victims in the area.
According to police, the suspect drives a late-model, green Chevrolet Astro Van with dark windows, a luggage rack, and a rear sunroof with the Oregon license plate 267 MMS.
Authorities encourage anyone with information about Flores to contact the Salem Police Department.
