‘This could have led to an argument’ says Sam Thompson as he goes to head to head with Zara after split rumours
SAM Thompson joked about arguing with girlfriend Zara McDermott as he shared a new clip after split rumours.
Earlier this month Zara, 27, was spotted crying in the street after The Sun revealed she and Sam, 31, were having “crisis talks”.
Yesterday Made in Chelsea star Sam took to Instagram to post a video of the couple taking part in their own sports day in support of Team GB at the Olympics in Paris.
The clip showed Sam telling Zara: “I think I’m winning.”
She replied: “Winning at what?” But he quipped: “Don’t question it.”
He then asked: “Are you ready for another challenge?”
But Zara said: “I don’t want to do another challenge.”
After she lost at rock, paper, scissors, Sam told Zara to run before pelting her with eggs.
He wrote: “This could have led to an argument [laughing emoji].
“We had so much fun getting into the spirit with an epic egg-throwing battle, and as you can see, things got competitive.”
The Sun previously told how a blazing row had led Zara to pack her bags and leave their home.
Love Island star Zara then went to stay with her parents in Essex before jetting off to Majorca for a modelling job.
A source at the time said: “Zara had a work commitment in Majorca but has now returned home to be with Sam and try to iron out their differences and have crisis talks.
“They really want to try and make the relationship work.”
Earlier this month Zara jetted off once again, this time with her family, but shut down any split rumours.
She shared a series of snaps from her trip, including one showing her on FaceTime to Sam.
