WWII sergeant whose plane crashed, honored with reburial in California

LOS ANGELES, California: A sergeant who was killed in World War II after his plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire in Germany returned home to California after 80 years.

On July 25, community members lined the roads to honor U.S. Army Air Force Tech. Sgt. Donald V. Banta as he was brought from Ontario International Airport to a burial home in Riverside, California.
